Free consultations at PhotoPlus Expo

Once again at PhotoPlus Expo (Oct. 28-30, 2010), ASMP will offer members a free consultation or portfolio review with a leading business and creative consultant. This year Ellen Boughn, Louisa Curtis, Kat Dalager, Elaine Davis, Blake Discher, Katherine Hennessey, Judy Herrmann, Jennifer Kilberg, Carolyn Potts, Suzanne Sease, Amanda Sosa Stone and Thomas Werner are generously donating their time and expertise.

The Consultants

Ellen Boughn: Marketing consultations. Ellen has over thirty years of experience as an editor/executive at Corbis, Dreamstime, UpperCut Images, Workbookstock and Getty (Stone).

Louisa Curtis: Creative and marketing consultations. Louisa is a creative and marketing consultant who helps photographers at all stages of their careers.

Kat Dalager: The ins and outs of advertising. Kat's diverse background as an art student, artist's rep, photo studio manager, creative wrangler and art producer give her a 360-degree perspective of the advertising world.

Elaine Totten Davis: Certified life and career coach (C.E.C). Elaine partners with creative professionals to explore ways to tap into your strengths, examine what holds you back and develop strategies for achieving long and short term goals.

Blake Discher offers two types of consultation: Reviewing your site for SEO or Negotiating and marketing for your business. Blake is an educator, SEO expert and professional photographer.

Katherine Hennessy: Marketing consultations. Katherine Hennessy is a photo representative, a marketing consultant, a photo producer and a "jack of many trades" within the photography industry.

Judy Herrmann: Strategic planning and redirecting your career. Judy is an educator, consultant and professional photographer.

Carolyn Potts: Targeted Portfolio edits. Effective marketing plans. Compassionate butt-kicking.Creative consultant Carolyn Potts helps pro-active photographers get the help they need to succeed in today's marketplace. With 30 years experience as a successful photographers' rep, she knows what photo buyers want and how to effectively market to them in today's changed economy.

Suzanne Sease, Amanda Sosa Stone and Jennifer Kilberg: Creative, portfolio, marketing consultations. Suzanne, Amanda and Jennifer are a creative consultant team serving the visual and marketing needs of professional photographers.

Thomas Werner: Participating in the Fine Art market. Thomas is a professor at Parsons The New School for Design, owns Thomas Werner Gallery, and works as a commercial and fine art photographer in Manhattan.
